Bvlgari's fragrance line began in Italy in 1992 with Eau Parfumée au Thé Vert. The first scent treated tea as a transparent aromatic material, opening a direction the house later revisited in several colours. Jewellery codes still shape the bottles, but the perfumes form a separate body of work.
