Founded in New York in 2000 by fashion designer John Varvatos. The menswear label extended into licensed fragrances from 2004, now produced under Shiseido and pitched at a rock-styled market. The Artisan line centers on citrus and herbs, while Dark Rebel works a smoky tobacco-and-woods accord.
