Jacques Guerlain

Learned within the Guerlain family house and became its principal perfumer at the end of the nineteenth century. His formulas joined rich natural materials to disciplined accord-building, shaping modern oriental and chypre perfumery. L'Heure Bleue, Mitsouko and Shalimar remain foundational works.
