Founded in Stockholm in 2006 by Ben Gorham. Byredo began with fragrance as a way to reconstruct memories, often using clear contrasts and relatively spare formulas. Names such as Gypsy Water, Bal d'Afrique and Bibliothèque turn places and cultural impressions into scent.
