Marie Salamagne

After early work with natural materials in Grasse, she joined Firmenich in 2001 and trained under Olivier Cresp. Her formulas often give familiar notes a textural twist, moving between smoke, sweetness and bright floral volume. Black Opium and By the Fireplace are two of her best-known works.
