Jean-Francois Laporte

Entered fragrance through experimentation with botanical materials and founded L'Artisan Parfumeur in 1976. His work helped open modern independent perfumery to unusual themes and raw materials. Mûre et Musc and the later Maître Parfumeur et Gantier house remain central to his legacy.
