Learned through independent study, informal training with a Highland perfumer and guidance from olfactory researcher George Dodd. His formulas mix aromachemicals with Scottish botanicals, often keeping roots, stems and damp earth in view. He founded Jorum Laboratories in 2009 and later Jorum Studio.
