A third-generation perfumer, he learned in the Carbonnel family business under his father, Francisco. Working publicly as both Chris Maurice and Christian Carbonnel, he favours saturated amber, oud, spice and fruit. Alexandria II, Naxos and More Than Words belong to his long Xerjoff collaboration.
