Launched in Germany in 1959 by Mäurer & Wirtz. Tabac Original established a barbershop structure of citrus, pepper, lavender, tobacco-like warmth, woods and musk. The formula became the centre of a wider grooming range spanning cologne, soap, shaving products and deodorant.
