Mami Wata

Mami Wata is a Cape Town surf and streetwear brand that has released a single fragrance rather than a full perfume line. Neo-Animism (2022), its debut scent, was developed with Etienne de Swardt and perfumer Mathilde Bijaoui. It is a clean, mineral-marine and soapy composition built around African surf culture and West African water-spirit folklore.
